Higher education around the world is witnessing many changes, transformations and challenges required by modern technological, informational and cultural developments. In recent years, Saudi Arabia has witnessed a remarkable interest in higher education, coupled with the unlimited financial support of its good government. This has been achieved through the construction of many universities in order to increase the number of graduates of general education and their absorption, , Which was the establishment of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation, and the development of a strategic plan for the future of university education in the Kingdom "Project Horizons".

In line with these efforts, local universities have developed their strategic plans to ensure that they comply with the standards of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment and the "Afaq Project." King Khalid University is one of these universities. It has developed a strategic plan through a committee composed of members from Jamba In cooperation with the strategic plan committee at the university, which presented an analysis of the current situation in the university and the preparation and development of the strategic plan.

This project is in response to these data and clarifies the strategic role the university aspires to play in the efforts to support higher education by developing strategic plans for some of the university's work units to follow its strategic plan. Strategy for the University.

This document represents the strategic plan of the business school, which includes the definition of the methodology of preparation of the plan, the stages it went through, the results achieved in terms of the main issues, the strategic features and the implementation plan necessary for the achievement of initiatives and indicators of performance and change management.

The project of developing the strategic plan of the college went through several stages, including: environmental analysis, formulation of strategic features, and development of the executive plan. During these stages, many meetings were held by the strategic plan committee, which was attended by many members of different departments in the college.

The most prominent external environment data were analyzed through the collection of quantitative and qualitative office data, analyzing the most important data and general factors affecting the general environmental context, and analyzing the beneficiaries, competitors and stakeholders in the private environmental context.

The internal environment of the college was evaluated through a workshop that included many departmental staff members and ended with identifying the most important strengths and weaknesses in the college. These gaps can be bridged by implementing the proposed initiatives and programs.

In light of the analysis of the internal environment factors (strengths and weaknesses) and the external environment (opportunities and challenges), the most prominent strategic issues were identified, with the factors influencing each issue analyzed and analyzed to come up with a number of initiatives that contribute positively to them. Accordingly, the general strategic features were defined starting with the formulation of the vision and mission of the college, and a set of values ​​that govern the work of the college, and in the light of which it exercises its activities and achieves its objectives. Based on its vision, mission and values, a set of coherent and integrated strategic objectives addressing all strategic issues were developed. 

At the operational level, the College will work towards achieving these goals. Implementing dozens of activities.
